How long does it take to see my website?
Your site is immediatley available using iMortgageSites
URL after signup. Though it typically takes up-to 48 hrs
for your domain name to be pointed at our servers.
How signup process works?
Signup process can be divided into 2 broad sections:
- Register your domain name:
You can always buy your domain during or after the signup
, but it's best to buy it before the start of signup
process at iMortgageSites. You can register your domain
using our domain registration service. Click here
to go to domain registration page. Alternatively you
can register it with any domain registrar of your choice.
- Signup:
Go to www.imortgagesites.com/signup.php
and follow the steps. Upon completing signup you will
instantly receive emails with simple instructions about
how to begin customization of your website. You'll also
receive instructions about how to point your domain
to our servers. Please see next question for steps after
signup.
How do I connect my domain name to my new iMortgageSites
website?
There are 2 ways to get your domain name go to your
website.
- Domain Forwarding
You can get "domain forwarding" for FREE for
your domain name through imortgagesites domains. By
getting "Forwarding" you can specify which
address you want your domain name to forward to. All
you need to do is tell your registrar to "Forward"
your domain to your iMortgageSites url. Your iMortgageSites
url is sent to you in the email after a successful singup.
- Forwarding with Masking
You can get FREE Forwarding with Masking through imortgagesites
domains. Forwarding with Masking is similar to Forwarding
except that your domain name will always remain in the
user's URL bar. In other words, your iMortgageSites
url will be masked (hidden) so that visitors
to your website will only see your domain name (yourdomain.com).
Why get a Domain Name?
Every imortgagesites website is hosted under the imortgagesites.com
domain name and your imortgagesites website is found by
adding your youromain name to the imortgagesites.com domain.
For example, if you have imortgagesites website, your can
find your website on the internet by typing in www.imortgagesites.com/clients/yourdomain.com.
Although you may use this address to find your website,
it is more professional to have your own domain name go
to your imortgagesites website, especially if you are a
business.
Can I upload my own
company logo?
Yes, this should be the first step after pointing your
domain to your website. Login to admin control panel, go
to Design Manager and click "Add Logo". In case you face
any difficulty or want to resize/adjust your logo as per
chosen template, please contact our support staff at 877-MY-i-SITE
or use online
support form.
Can I choose which content pages I want to have on my website?
Indeed, through admin panel you can switch any pages
"On" or "Off".
Can I edit/update website pages?
You can add/edit contents of up-to 17 pages. You can
use these pages to upload articles, company news, reports
etc. Our browser based WYSIWYG online HTML and Rich Text
editor enables you to create formatted pages. With this,
you can easily create, edit, and preview your website pages
from everywhere without any programming knowledge.
Can I customize my home page?
Yes, if you are an enterprise customer and choose to
have a customized home page, you'll have full control to
update your home page as per your liking.
Can I update interest rates shown on my website?
Absolutely, you can update your interest rates as often
as you like, and all changes are applied dynamically to
keep your "Today's Rates" information up-to-date and current.
